BASIC CONE 2,5 cm – small, oak handles without a shank.

The BASIC CONE 2.5 cm furniture knobs are simple-shaped handles that are a great decoration for minimalist interiors. Combined with other wooden elements, they also fit modern and loft interiors. The beautiful material from which they are made emphasizes the class of the interior.
They fit perfectly into interiors with art déco furniture.

The BASIC CONE 2.5 cm furniture knobs match perfectly with other knobs and handles from the BASIC series. For larger cabinets, we recommend BASIC knobs with a diameter of 3 cm or oak furniture handles.

It may happen that individual handles, knobs and hangers will have dimensions slightly different than those given above (differences below 1 mm). We love natural materials and the work of hands, their unpredictability and unique character, but we always make sure that the handles you order form a coherent whole – both in terms of dimensions and aesthetics.

Which oil to choose?

Soft, colorless oil (semi-matte) – ecological oil made of components of plant origin in combination with beeswax. It protects against moisture, while allowing to obtain a matte surface of the wood, emphasizing the grain pattern. Polish product. It has a PZH certificate for use in rooms intended for permanent residence of people and for the food industry.

Colorless hard oil (semi-matte) – a natural hard wax oil. It does not contain solvents. A wooden surface impregnated with this oil is even more resistant to water and abrasions and stays bright for longer (less yellowing) compared to the soft, colorless, semi-matte oil.

Colorless hard oil (gloss) for kitchen and bathroom – a mixture of natural resins and vegetable oils, which provides a strong protection against dirt and moisture. It is recommended for handles intended for high humidity interiors. Wood protected with this oil is slightly darker than when impregnated with the semi-matt hard oil from our offer.

Hard whitening oil (semi-matte) – a translucent oil, which penetrates mainly into the wood grain; protects the wood against dirt and makes the hue of the wood cooler, but does not significantly change its color.

Soft wenge oil (semi-matte) – an oil protects the wood and gives it a warm, dark brown color.

Cleaning and care

Wood impregnated with natural soft oil should be refreshed by wiping it with a soft cloth gently soaked in oil (it can be refined cooking oil) – it will revive the color and renew the impregnating layer. The frequency of this care depends on the extent to which the wood is used on a daily basis. Only dry wood can be coated with oil. Refreshing of handles is required less frequently in rooms with dry air, slightly more often where the contact with water is more frequent.

Dirty oiled wood can be cleaned with a well pressed soft cloth soaked in a mild solution of gray soap, in the direction of the wood grain. Do not use synthetic detergents and other strong cleaning agents.
Oiled wood must not come into contact with alcohol – it could discolor permanently.

Wood impregnated with hard colorless oil (which we recommend for bathrooms and kitchens), wenge oil or whitening oil can also be cleaned with a well pressed soft cloth soaked in a mild solution of gray soap, in the direction of the wood grain. Do not use synthetic detergents and other strong cleaning agents.
Oiled wood must not come into contact with alcohol – it could discolor permanently.

If the coating requires renovation, the sanded, dust-free handle should be re-oiled with two layers of oil.
