Who are we? How do we work?
When designing furniture knobs and handles, we see them as small forms of applied art. The objects we create combine beauty and functionality. In the process of developing a concept, and later in production, we draw on our knowledge, skills, and craftsmanship experience. The materials we work with are primarily wood, jewellery enamel, glass, copper, and brass. All of them are noble materials that allow the handles we create to age beautifully.
Some of us are jewellers, and that is why we want to present each of our knobs as a kind of jewellery. Jewellery for furniture. Jewellery that, above all, fits into its surroundings while also meeting the aesthetic needs of the people who choose it.
That is why our designs include collections of very minimalist furniture knobs that coexist with more decorative handles.
Manufaktura DOT is a 100% Polish brand, within which we offer our Customers an alternative to the furniture knobs that can be found commonly on the market.
We firmly distance ourselves from mass production. We want our product to be unique, optimized, and beautiful. We pay close attention to details. “Looking through a jeweller’s loupe” is a good illustration of the way we approach the development of the technological process, over which we maintain complete control.
At Manufaktura DOT, we work in a small team of craftspeople and artists. Thanks to this, we offer our Customers furniture handles made from various materials and using different techniques, while maintaining professional quality. We want this variety to give our Customers the freedom to match the knobs to their furniture. We know that there are situations when a piece of furniture, an interior, or our Customer themselves are so distinctive that the best result is achieved by designing special custom-made knobs or handles. And we welcome such situations and are happy to take them on.
craftsmanship and traditional techniques
We are a small artisan-artistic team. We work using artisanal methods, drawing on our many years of experience and education. In our handles, we use the techniques of jewellery enamelling, traditional woodworking, glass fusing, and hand-working of copper and brass sheet metal.

In our workshop, we design all the handles ourselves and make them after an order is placed—without excess, without storing unnecessary items.
