We recommend mounting the handles and knobs by hand using a screwdriver. We do not recommend the use of screw guns.
Spacing of holes for mounting long handles
Important: once you have marked out and drilled the holes, before installing the handles check that the screws are at right angles to the handle and to the front of the cabinet. If there is any deviation, enlarge the holes (e.g. by 1 mm) and try again. Any position of the screws other than perpendicular to the furniture front may result in the destruction of the handle during installation or use. When the screw is positioned diagonally, the handle is subject to much higher forces than a properly installed one.
Each of our knobs and handles is delivered with a 25 mm long M4 screw. It is a screw suitable for mounting on fronts up to a thickness of 18mm.
The second most common front thickness is 19-23 mm – if you have such fronts, please let us know in the “comments” field when placing the order – we will attach screws 30 mm long.
If your fronts are thicker, please purchase the appropriate screws in a hardware store. Screw type is M4, screw length: L = front thickness + from 7 to 10 mm.
