DOTmanufacture furniture knobs in the Living Room!

It's time to share another pleasant thing that happened to us a month ago. We haven't written about it until now because the Living Room article in question came out around the time of the Warsaw HOME trade show, which we were very absorbed in. ;) But it's actually the Christmas issue of the magazine, and the holidays are getting closer, so it's high time to write a little about the article. Maybe it will inspire you? A cup of tea in your hand, a blanket on your lap, sit comfortably, and let's get started. :)

How does an interview with the furniture knob factory team come about? :)

Some time ago (because writing usually takes time to publish...), we interviewed us, covering various topics related to the DOTmanufacture studio, our interests, and the techniques we use. During these conversations, we always face a dilemma: what exactly should we talk about? We don't lack ideas, of course; the problem is that we have too many! Working on knobs has so many facets, so many stages from conceiving a shape, texture, or color to realization and launching a product, that we often don't know where to begin. Perhaps we shouldn't talk about our side of the process at all, but rather about the people we work with, who often make seemingly complex processes suddenly manageable? Or perhaps we should talk about our clients, whose admiration often overwhelms us, and whose constructive feedback helps us move forward, helps us develop, and reassures us that we're on the right track? Or perhaps we should talk about the collaboration within our team, which goes beyond simple workplace relationships? We have so much to say that our interlocutors sometimes have to surrender to our flow of words:)

In this case, we tried to share a little bit of everything. About our journey to developing a furniture knob factory. About the furniture knobs we make, the repoussé ones, the ones for children's rooms (we included one of our favorite photos in the interview, can you guess which one?), and the glass knobs and handles for furniture. About the projects we've already completed, and the dilemmas we sometimes face when choosing furniture knobs or handles for a specific interior. We shared a bit about our workspace, where we have many intriguing machines and objects, and about the techniques we like to use in production.

Furniture knobs and handles in the Living Room article? We invite you to read!

This article was published in the October/November issue of Living Room magazine. If you're curious about the full article, read it. Here are a few photos from the issue to encourage you. So, maybe it's time for a fresh cup of tea and some more reading...? ;)
